SO WHAT HAS MOUNTAINEERING GOT TO DO WITH BUSINESS?

SIBL members found out on 18th August when they were treated to an impassioned presentation from Ian Woodall, mountaineer, solider, adventurer and motivational speaker.

 Ian led an emotional and challenging Leadership Masterclass entitled “The TAO of Everest” based on his experiences climbing Everest.  He led the first South African Mount Everest expedition in 1996 and has gone on to lead further expeditions. His theme in the workshop was around the gentle art of personal inspiration and practical leadership. “Ian gave a truly inspirational and memorable presentation,” said Drew Pryde, executive chairman, SIBL.  “His experiences of triumph and tragedy on the mountains have many valuable lessons for businesses today.” Our thanks also go to WL Gore in Livingston who provided first class boardroom and catering facilities.

WORLD-CLASS BUSINESS SPEAKER ADDRESSES THE SCOTTISH INSTITUTE FOR BUSINESS LEADERS
